Sika Deer Hunting
The Sika Deer are medium sized and have a short, trim, wedge-shaped head. The average male is around 150-180 lbs. Sika antlers have 3-4 points branching from a main beam. Sika are typically nocturnal and are seen mostly during the early morning hours or late in the evening. The hunting method commonly used on a sika deer hunt is blind and feeders. The best time to hunt sika is September-February.
You will need a hunting license. Non-resident hunters can purchase a 5 day special hunting license.
