Elk

Rocky Mountain Elk Hunting:

Rocky Mountain Elk is a subspecies of elk found in the Rocky Mountains and adjacent ranges of Western North America. The elk were brought to the ranch in the early 80's. We only take a handful of bulls and cows each year. The hunting method commonly used on an elk hunt is safari style and spot and stalk. Depending on weather and habitat conditions at the time of your hunt, you may be hunting from a blind and feeder.

Elk can be hunted year round. You will need a hunting license. Non-resident hunters can purchase a 5 day special hunting license.
